Try Something New

Each week offers the chance to try something new as the game evolves both on and off the court. Basketball, like many team sports, is perfect for experiencing fresh challenges while maintaining the same familiar structure. It’s a great way to develop new skills, face different scenarios, and grow within the game, all while sticking to the core elements that make basketball fun and exciting!

Social Navigation

Learning to navigate a team sport like basketball is an excellent way to strengthen your social connections and improve how you interact with others. Working as a team encourages sharing the court, learning to communicate effectively even at a distance, and striving toward a common goal. It's a fun and active way to build relationships and teamwork skills that go beyond the game!

We acknowledge that Enabling Independence operates on the traditional lands of the Kaurna people and that we respect their spiritual relationship with their country.

We also acknowledge the Kaurna people as the custodians of the Adelaide region and that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to the living Kaurna people today.

We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded, and we pay our respects to the cultural authority of Aboriginal people visiting/attending from other areas of South Australia and Australia.
