Hi my name is Chloe and I have been working in disability support for 3 years now. It brings me so much joy contributing to individuals achieving their goals. This may include community access support, daily skills building, or just being somebody that you can rely on for support.
Â
I’ve chosen to work in disability because I genuinely care about ensuring that the client lives their life how they choose. I find it incredibly rewarding to build connections within our community and supporting individuals to reach their goals no matter how big or small the goal may be.
Â
My strengths as a disability support worker include patience, consistency and compassion. I take time in understanding the individuals needs, preferences, and goals so I can provide support that is truly person focused. I have strong communication skills which helps me build trust with not only my client but also their family. I am adaptable and able to respond calmly in certain situations to ensure my client feels safe and comfortable.
Â
When I’m not working, you can find me hanging out with my friends or at home hanging out with my animals. I really enjoy listening to music, watching movies, and the beach.
