Yes, depending on the activity. For example, if you’re going on a day trip, we’ll ask you to bring things like a drink bottle, sun hat, and maybe a packed lunch. Don’t worry—we’ll let you know what to bring in advance!

Our programs take place at different locations depending on the activity. Some are at the Target Hill Hub, while others might be at local parks, shopping centres, or even on trips to cool places like the Adelaide Zoo! The location details are always included in the event descriptions.

Enabling Independence supports people living with disabilities to gain more freedom and confidence in their daily lives. We offer group programs, social activities, and personal support to help people improve their skills, have fun, and build connections.

We recommend bringing personal essentials, such as toiletries, a hat, and comfortable clothing.

We offer Short Term Respite (STR) for durations ranging from a single overnight stay to two weeks. Extended stays may also be available on a case-by-case basis. The NDIS Pricing Guidelines provide up to 28 days of STR funding per year, which you can use flexibly to suit your needs. To explore your options, contact our team today!

We provide Short Term Accommodation (STA) and respite services for groups of up to six participants. Larger groups can be accommodated upon request or through our special programs, such as Trips Away offering greater flexibility and tailored experiences.

Short Term Respite (STR) is categorised under Assistance with Daily Living according to NDIS guidelines. It is available through CORE Supports. The amount of STR funding you can access may vary, so be sure to review your NDIS plan for specific details.

We plan our Connections activity schedule on a seasonal basis, with a new 3-month calendar published each season in advance. This allows participants to plan ahead and feel confident about what to expect each day.

Connections activities often include preparing and sharing a healthy lunch together. Participants are also welcome to bring their own packed lunch if they prefer.

Depending on the activity, bring a hat, sunscreen, drink bottle, and any required personal items. Specifics will be given in advance.

Our Connections program is open to everyone and doesn’t require full enrollment to participate. This means that can choose to attend individual activities that interest you or sign up for the full calendar. To register, get in touch via email, phone, or use the “Contact Us” button on our website.
