Hi everyone, my name is Chris. I am a support worker based in Gawler. I have a young son and have been doing support/youth work for nearly 4 years now. Previously to doing support work I spent nearly 20 years with a trade background before making the change. I really have enjoyed the career change and I am dedicated to giving the best support and empowerment to my participants as much as possible.

I chose disability work because I wanted to make a positive impact to the community.

I have a good sense of humour, and I am very patient and understanding that everybody’s needs and circumstances are different. I have lived experience with a family member with a disability. I am consistent, resilient, and respectful to all.

I am a vintage car enthusiast, am in the Volkswagen Enthusiasts Club of South Australia and I have a 1970 fully restored VW kombi. I have spent time on the committee for the VECSA Club and I also enjoy sports, particularly AFL and NRL.
