Hi, my name is Indi. I am 21 years old and I have been working in disability support my whole life! I love supporting people in crushing their goals and sharing new experiences together.
My mum has worked in the disability sector since before I was born. I remember hanging out with her clients when I was young and having the ability to volunteer with her when I was older. Through this I gained so many experiences and amazing friendships! Disability work has, and forever will be a huge passion and drive in my life.
I like to think of myself of a jack of all trades when it comes to disability support. I love being active in the community with clients, but equally enjoy sitting down and watching a movie or cooking dinner together. I am an extremely caring and empathetic person, with a lot of curiosity for life.
I enjoy reading, learning, music (including some very loud car singing), and arts and crafts (even though I may not always be very good at it).
During the school term, I work full time as an Education Support Officer (ESO) supporting children with intellectual and behavioural disabilities in school settings meaning most of my availability with Enabling Independence includes Basketball and School Holidays. Fortunately, school holiday times are some of the most fun times of the whole year at Enabling Independence and I cannot wait to form and foster a relationship with you and your family in time
