Ishtar

Hi, I’m Ishtar, the resident office squirrel and Dungeon Master. You can find me squirrelled away in the office working on all sorts of important things. If you come along to Dungeons and Dragons you’ll find me at the head of the table taking everyone on a grand adventure to save the world.

As a person with disability, I am extremely passionate about helping other people like me. I want to raise everyone up to live their best lives. Having been both a Carer and a person requiring support, I am very aware of why support is so vital to our community.

I bring my creativity, dynamic problem solving skills, quick wit, and diverse skill set to the job. I can be described as something of a “Bitsa” around Enabling Independence. I do a bit of this, a bit of that, and a bit of the other too. Give me 5 minutes to troubleshoot your problem and I’ll get back to you with a solution.

I love roleplaying games (both video games and tabletops), LARPing, acting and performance, crochet, knitting, painting, crafting, and costuming.
