I’m John and I’m a passionate support worker/mentor who enjoys helping young people grow in confidence and reach their goals. I coach kids through soccer, which has helped me build strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, staying active, and spending time with my puppy. I’m easy to talk to, reliable, and always aim to create a positive and encouraging environment for the people I support.
My passion for this industry comes from taking care of my grandfather and I chose to work in disability because I enjoy helping people, building connections, and making a positive difference in someone’s life. I’m patient, supportive, and enjoy working with people from all backgrounds.
I bring almost 3 years of experience in disability support, strong communication skills, patience, positive energy, and a great attitude. I’m reliable, easy to get along with, and focused on creating a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment while helping clients reach their goals and stay independent.
My hobbies and interests include coaching kids, going to the gym, staying active, and spending time with my puppy. Raising and training my puppy has taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and understanding, which has also helped me become more calm and supportive when working with others.
